DusterLag Sweeps Night Texas IRL Duel Victories

DusterLag swept the Duel races Sunday afternoon at Night Texas IRL over Patch. Patch captured the pole award for race 1 but DusterLag dominated the race - leading 37 of 56 laps while nearly lapping the entire field. Patch, Grumpy, Donaldson and Spike wrap up the top five for race 1. Race 2 started with an inverted field placing oldns_low on the pole and race 1 winner, DusterLag, last on the grid but he would not stay there long. While four drivers battled and sustained damage from contact in the opening laps, DusterLag passed all four on the back stretch apron going on to dominate race 2 while leading 36 of 42 laps. Patch, oldns_low, Donaldson and Spike wrap up the top five for race 2. The fun continues as DusterLag re-takes the driver championship lead over Spike by eleven points. Patch holds onto third, twenty-two points back. DusterLag increases his oval championship lead to eighteen over Patch. Twisted Metal maintains the team championship lead over Cyber Racing. Spike Wraps Up Victory at Vancouver, Re-Takes Championship Lead

Spike continues to dominate the road and street courses this season as he wraps up his third victory Sunday night on the tight streets of Vancouver. Patch captured the pole award with a 49.998 second lap, five tenths over second, but he struggled at the drop of the green flag after spinning and suffering engine damage on lap 1 and totaling his car on lap 4. Spike would lead every lap of the series first visit to the circuit while driving to victory in his #43 Petty Plymouth. oldns_low, DusterLag, Grumpy and Patch wrap up the top five. The driver championship lead swaps again as Spike moves into the lead by four points over DusterLag and Patch falls seventeen back after struggling on track. DusterLag Wrecks, Then Captures Second Indy 500 IRL Victory

DusterLag captured his second Indy 500 IRL Victory Sunday afternoon in his #01 Ford after suffering front wing damage and wrecking in the opening laps. Patch started on the pole after capturing it during pole qualifying last weekend but he would not stay there long as he and every driver in the field would take a trip off-track and through the grass at least once. DusterLag started fourth falling back to fifth after damage and worked his way back through the field re-taking the lead following final pit stops. oldns_low, cruisectrl, Patch and Spike wrap up the top five. DusterLag swaps the driver championship lead with Spike by two points while Patch trails by ten. DusterLag increases his oval championship lead to ten over Patch. Patch Captures Pole for Indy 500 IRL; oldns_low Starts Outside Pole

Patch captured the pole for next Sunday's Indy 500 IRL event after a 20 minute qualifying session. Patch clocked in at a 40.710 which is more than a tenth faster than last years pole when ucrdoh clocked in at a 40.818. oldns_low will be starting outside pole in second with a lap of 40.992. Spike Dominates G3-IndyRC GA Over Early Leader Patch

Spike dominated late into race five of the 2013 IndyCar Season at G3-IndyRC GA Sunday afternoon. Spike took the lead near the mid-way point in his #43 machine and never looked back, leading the most laps and running the fastest lap Spike is surely a force to be reckoned with. Patch was strong early - after capturing the pole award he led most of the opening laps but on track mistakes and damage left him falling back and finishing second. cruisectrl, Grumpy and DusterLag wrap up the top five. Spike takes the lead by five points over DusterLag in the driver championship while Patch looses ground to the lead, down nine points. Spike also increases his gap to ten in the road championship over Patch and DusterLag who are tied for second.
